Vanessa tutored both my daughters. I have known her for ten years! She tutored my first girl, Tiara, when she was taking her PSLE in 2010. Tiara was struggling with her Math and it was no surprise that she hated the subject. After engaging Vanessa as her Math tutor for a few months, I could see Tiara’s result continue to get better. Then in secondary school, Tiara was struggling in Math again with another tutor. At that time, Vanessa was in Australia to further her studies. The moment she came back to Singapore when Tiara was in secondary two, I quickly engaged her again. Since then, Tiara has been getting As for her Math. Then came my second girl, Irdina. I started her with Vanessa since primary two. Irdina has been getting her As in primary school. She is now in secondary 3 and enjoys Vanessa’s lessons. Vanessa has very good rapport with my children. She was able to simplify Math concepts to help them understand better. As a teacher, she is firm yet humorous. Both my husband and I are very grateful for her patience and excellent work. I even recommended her to my sister and now my niece and nephew are her students. 5 Stars for Vanessa!

Vanessa has played a big part in my children's education journey. Ms Vanessa has been the biggest influence and positive impact on my life. She's taught me since secondary school, and over the years my results have improved. I was a C grade student to an A grade student after Ms Vanessa started teaching me. She was extremely patient and encouraging. I would usually give up at certain points when I felt discouraged, but she always made sure to motivate me and ensure that I do not feel as though I'm bad at math. She made classes enjoyable by having small chats and knowing me better. She makes sure that she gives me enough practice and I fully understand the concept before she moves on to another topic.
